Running Projects

Monte do Ramalho
Since June 2024, I have been contributing to Monte do Ramalho, a rural tourism accommodation and event venue in the Alentejo region of Portugal. My role encompasses business and service development, as well as strategies to enhance off-season sales. To achieve these goals, I also provide support in general operations, sales initiatives, and marketing efforts. Additionally, I assist with wedding operations, including site setup and decorative arrangements, ensuring smooth and memorable events.
Earthly Delights
I founded Earthly Delight as a platform to promote close-to-nature living and the principles of slow living. Through a variety of events and catering services, the project seeks to create meaningful experiences that celebrate simplicity, sustainability, and mindful living. While still in its early stages, Earthly Delight is growing with a vision to inspire and connect individuals to a more harmonious way of life.

Past Projects

El Khat
I handled daily tasks and communication for the band, serving as the primary point of contact for our partners, promoters, booking agencies, and record label. I also managed task coordination and time efficiency, while providing support with basic accounting and administrative work, all aimed at fostering the band's international growth.

Bánkitó Festival
I joined the festival as a head coordinator for 2 years. It is a medium sized festival which attracts around 5,000 attendees daily and has more than a decade of experience. Despite having a solid operational structure and a substantial budget, the festival, as a financially independent cultural project, faced challenges in achieving both sustainability and profitability within the sector. To address this, we focused on business strategy planning, effective team and task management, and a robust marketing and sales strategy to ensure the festival's long-term success and financial growth.

Alt.Bp
I served as the project manager for the Alternative Budapest research project, commissioned by the Budapest Mayor's Office. Our goal was to create a network by selecting 10 key hubs and then gathering information on all the venues, associations, civil groups/organizations, artist collectives, and other entities connected to Budapest's alternative scene. As a result of our research, we developed an interactive data visualization-based website that featured additional multimedia content, including short films, interviews, and a photo album. Additionally, we organized a three-day conference with cultural events held across the 10 selected hubs throughout the city.

Kanyargó
Our shared objective was to promote the sustainable development of the Danube Bend in Hungary, focusing on both environmental protection and cultural tourism. We facilitated connections among local residents, businesses, bars, NGOs, and municipalities to support tourism expansion in a way that aligns with sustainability goals.
As part of our efforts, we developed a map for tourists, highlighting all the locations that agreed to a set of sustainability criteria we collectively established. A significant achievement was getting the support of two major national transportation companies—MÁV (trains) and MAHART (shipping)—to participate in our initiative. We built this project from the ground up, completing it in just three months with no initial funding.

Camp Szőnyi
With more than fifty years of history, this summer camp and art school managed to maintain its independent, free-spirited, and open-minded approach. As part of the new generation, we continued to offer a robust artistic education program, organizing a three-week course every summer for adults and children. I was overseeing the camp's operations and coordinating events. Additionally, I played a key role in fostering relationships with the local community and the town's mayor to ensure strong connections and support.

Szőnyi Kino Garden
As a side project of Camp Szőnyi, we established an international film festival featuring a diverse range of artistic and cultural programs. I was a member of the founding team involved in the implementation process. This festival typically spanned three extended weekends. Starting from scratch, we secured three reliable partnerships with organizations from Hungary, Slovenia, and Poland, building robust and lasting relationships. By leveraging only organic marketing techniques, we successfully reached our targeted number of attendees for the festival's third edition, marking a significant milestone in our growth and development.

Jazzaj
Jazzaj is a project dedicated to supporting Budapest's free jazz scene by organizing weekly concert series and building a connected network of artists and enthusiasts. I joined in the project's third year, and soon after, we established a nonprofit organization to further our mission. During these active years, the popularity of free jazz grew significantly within the city, extending its reach to commercial venues and festivals. This expansion played a crucial role in promoting this vibrant cultural scene.

Variety of venue programming and event management
At a venue’s opening year, I coordinated program schedules, handled social media content, and supervised logistics, ensuring high-quality guest experiences.
In my role as personal assistant to the founder of a major festival, I managed urgent problem-solving on-site, updated the festival's app to keep attendees informed, and ensured seamless team communication, helping the event run smoothly.
Additionally, I managed all musical programming at another venue, overseeing the entire organizing team, closely collaborating with the communications coordinator, and even assisting in bar management.
Each project required a unique, hands-on approach, showcasing my adaptability and comprehensive skills across various aspects of event and venue management.
